Overview:

3D Stripper / DreamStripper is an Adult Game, a Screensaver, and a Virtual Stripper application all rolled into one.  The programs include Cabaret, Professional, Game, and Screensaver, and can be purchased as a bundle or individually.  All the applications are very similar to one another, and in fact, the only difference between them is the mode in which the program operates.  This product. developed and sold as DreamStripper by Ensign games, is now also private labelled and sold as 3D Stripper by the same company that offers 3D Girlz (rebranded version of Virtual Hottie 2).

Under the DreamStripper banner Cabarat and Professional versions allow you full control over a 3D virtual stripper.  To control the model you simply click on any of many icons to cue up moves for the girl to perform.  She'll perform the realistic moves in turn until she runs out of moves, and then she'll stand around patiently waiting for you.  To keep the dancer going you need to constantly keep adding moves into the queue, which is displayed across the bottom of the screen.  Some moves take just a second or two to perform, such as blowing a kiss, while others such as pole walk, can take much longer.

The girl can be somewhat customized in the Professional version with a selection of hair colors, outfits (e.g. schoolgirl, cowgirl, nurse, latex, to name a few), and tattoos.  Individual items of clothing may also be swapped out or removed for another look.  You may also slather on some oil to give the girl a nice shine.  The Cabaret version builds on these capabilities by allowing you to select from four different girls, which are, dissapointingly, only modestly different from one another.  While the Pro version lacks many features of the newer product it does allow you to render your own clothing for the models, although I haven't tried that out personally.  Unfortunately there are also no controls to adjust the body type, which is identical for all models.  Two other enhancements in the Cabaret version are that the girls talk to you as they perform, and that all the dance moves can be selected on screen.  In the Professional version you have to scroll through various moves which was rather annoying.

In the Game version, the object is to make the girl dance to earn money.  From a check box like menu you can change outfits, take off items of clothing, change spot lighting styles, and purchase stage time.  All of these things add up to more cash in your pocket as you shake your thang on the stage.  The game is very easy, so much so, that I didn't find it any more entertaining or challenging than the Professional or Cabaret products.

The Screensaver is simply a fully automated version of the program which runs as a screensaver, obviously.  If you feel like just sitting back and watching the action without the other features, this is your best choice.

Controls allow you to move around the girl in 3 dimensions, zoom in and out, and adjust dance speed for a better gawk.  There are features for snapping photos of your lady in action, to pause the dance, and to mute voice or music.  In the Cabaret version you may also control camera angle, adjust ambient light, and get the girl to dance for you automatically. 

The graphics in all versions are good although the background scenary is much improved in the latest version.  The strippers do display some facial expressions which is a nice touch.  Breasts do move fairly realistically and each dance move is realistically modeled and performed.  Big improvements in the Cabaret version over the Professional version include smooth transitions between dance moves and a well rendered vagina.  Missing in all versions is the girl's anus for those that like to get an occasional peek at it.

The sound in all versions is of good quality, which includes both the models voices and music.  More importantly, music can be imported into the program in mp3 format.  If you want your dirty girl to dance to Guns 'n' Roses you have that capability.

Graphics and sound can be customized from an options menu, but you have to exit the program and restart it to make and check changes. 

Pros:

• Custom mp3 music capabilities
• Long list of realistic stripper moves complete with pole dancing
• Good range of traditional exotic dancer outfits.

Cons:

• Bodies cannot be customized and girls don't have a poop chute
• Controls are akward, particuarly in Professional and Game versions of the product
• Products, for which you must pay seperately, are not differentiated enough to justify the extra cost.  In particular the Professional version is outdated and should be removed from the product line. 

The Skinny:

DreamStripper is a good choice if you are looking for a stripping simulation that provides a wide range of moves and the ability to import your own playlist.  The Game mode simply isn't fun, and the models aren't completely anatomically correct.  The good folks at Ensign Games are working on the next upgrade so stand by for upcoming enhancements to the strippers.
